I have really gotten into Christmas this year. Sad to admit but, it's the first time I have decorated for Christmas in about 10 years. Living in SLC, helped that to happen, since the snow that fell on those few days of decorating really got me going. We have a beautiful view out over the Jordan canal and some beautiful homes on the other side of the river. Lots of foilage and beautiful Christmas lights. It's very nice.

This has been a year of frustration, health problems, children problems, financial problems, career problems and lots of physical and emotional pain. But through it all, I am so thankful for my Heavenly Fathers presence in my life. I feel his love and presence everyday, and know that through his sacrifice I will get throught the problems and the hard times. I look forward to a great 2012...... I think it will be a year for Kent and I that we can come full circle with our desires, passions and 'the right thing to do for us'...

So easy to get bogged down in the nitty gritty..........

Is this mason jar chandelair the cutest thing since your first grandchild? (well, not quite, but close...). I am going to be doing a class on making it. (OK, I still need to move to Salt Lake, but am in the damn process. It sucks....

I also love this chair cover.... I am going to do this to my old chair, and loveseat..... So cute and I think easy....

As most of you know, my heart goes beat, beat, beat.... when I find buttons and lace and ribbon... Especially silk ribbon... I've never tried to do much with it. But..... I will. I swear I will.

Sort of a cute lamp cover..... I have some better ideas for it, but this is a start.

May I please live in this room? I could just cozy up to the fire, read, sleep and pet a kitty all day long here. (This is where Cameron Diaz lived when she went to England in that movie.... Can't remember the name of it).

Cute way for a craft room to store material and lace.... It could happen....

Well, my dreams are complete for the night..... Now I must go face reality. Dirty house, dishes, and bills......

I need a good ol' change....

Don't you just love these adorable rooms?

I am so tired of my 'Tuscan' design... I think it's time for a whole new look.

I'm thinking I will paint all my black furniture white, and add some beautiful white linens and pretty pastels (just a few)....

I will probably need Carole's help in finding the beautiful white linens... She's pretty darn good at that stuff.

Is this old window pane over the bed so awesome. I'm sure I'd need Kentie's help to make sure it is up there good and tight..

I'm not sure how manly this room is, but isn't a bedroom suppose to be all about the woman? Yeah, I think so.
